Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest will span 10 vibrant blocks along Queen Street East between the Don Valley Parkway to just past the world-famous De Grassi Street. It all happens just across the bridge from Toronto’s downtown core.

This year, the 10th Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest 2024 will showcase

  • 50+ local eateries and shops along Queen Street East serve food specials, sidewalk sales, and live entertainment.
  • Riverside’s family-friendly food outlets, retailers, and unique small town in the big city atmosphere
  • Destination points at five street closures and two local parks including beer gardens, culinary delights, family-friendly activities, and entertainment with free live music ranging from Samba, New Orleans-style Jazz, Steel Pan, Blues and Children’s entertainment.

Queen Street East will remain open throughout the festival.

What street closures are happening for the Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest?

At no time will Queen Street East be closed to traffic. There 5 partial street closures, including: Carroll Street (N of Queen E to laneway), Munro St (N of Queen E to laneway), Broadview (S of Queen E to laneway), Saulter (N of Queen E to laneway), McGee (S of Queen E to laneway).

How can I find the full festival event guide?

We will be providing a digital and printed festival event guide - it will be available in mid-May.

What free activities and products will be available at the festival?

The festival itself is free to for the public to attend, there will be a variety of free activities including live music, face painting, games, samples, and prizes at the festival destination points. See the full event guide for details.

How can I get to the festival? (Transit and Bicycle)

Take TTC 501 streetcar (from west: stops at Carroll Street, Broadview, Saulter, and Empire Ave; from east: Jimmie Simpson, Boulton, Broadview, Carroll). Bicycle parking is along Queen E and side streets. Toronto Bikeshare stations at Thompson/Broadview and at Booth/Queen E.

What car parking is available?

Green P lots are located just north of Queen East on Broadview, and street parking is along Queen E and side streets.

How can I become a vendor at the festival?

Contact the Riverside BIA for vendor opportunities at the festival at office@riverside-to.com. Only approved vendors are permitted to operate within the festival.

What permits does the festival have to operate?

The festival will be operating under permits from the City of Toronto including Noise Permits, Steet Events permits and Special Events (in parks) Permits. Organizers will have permits posted on site at all times during the festival.

Spanning 10 vibrant tree-lined blocks along Toronto’s historic Queen St. East from the iconic DVP Bridge to just east of the world famous De Grassi Street, and south including Baseball Place Lane and East Don Roadway.
